BEAUTY IN BLUE
Time after time I find my self taking pictures of the flowers. I was not aware of how much the fascinate me before I started taking pictures.
WATER LILY - Nymphéas
I've always been fascinated by waterlilies, and how they are to float on the surface of the water.
I guess this is why Monet is one of my favorite artist. The French Impressionist Claude Monet (1840–1926) painted Nymphéas a series of approximately 250 oil paintings. The paintings depict Monet's flower garden at Giverny and were the main focus of Monet's artistic production during the last thirty years of his life.

REACHING FOR THE SKY
A beautiful day at the fortress in Halden I found one of my favorite motives, the flower with the sky as background.
FEMSJØEN
Femsjøen is a lake located in Halden in Østfold. That is the bottom of the lakes in the Halden watercourse. It is located just east of Halden, and the outlet of the river Tista through Tistedalen.
THE LAKE FOXEN
These pictures were taken when I and my daughter was to exploring the nature together. On these expeditions we see two different worlds trough the camera lens.
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes".
~Marcel Proust
Poles
I always go back to the abstract motives. In all my life I start with the small pieces to see the big picture. In the art it is different.
“There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.”
Pablo Picasso.
